Eric D'Alessandro Manchester Concert reviews
Mmmmmm
Eric D'Alessandro was just okay, for lack of a better word. Maybe it was because they weren't quite up to speed yet, let's hope that was the reason. They have a spectacular stage show. The lights overhead rise and lower on command, producing an eye-pleasing show. Glass panels border both sides of the stage, forming an upside-down V. Clear stage with lights and smoke under them. There is a long arrow runway that goes far to the back of the arena, where the guys play from time to time. The band left the stage after only an hour and was called back for another 30 minutes. I wonder if they would have returned if the response would have been lackluster. The sound was really bad, reminding me of the sound for the dances we had in high school gym. All in all, it's worth seeing just for the stage show, but they need to step up their game for me to see another Eric D'Alessandro show.
